Grupo Transporte Humano

GTH is an independent and self-sufficient group that promotes non-motorized transportation and also encourages "proximity" thus reducing the need for urban trips of goods and people.

Nowadays, in Brazil, the automobile fills more than 60% of our streets but represents less than 25% of urban trips. Besides, the cost of the infrastructure maintenance and crash fatalities are exorbitant.

By reducing car-usage it is possible to create a reliable, comfortable and free public transportation network in our cities.
